Welcome to the District 95 Curriculum and Assessment information. The following links will provide outlines and information related to curriculum, assessments and the Common Core standards.

Common Core Standards

Building on the best of existing state standards, the Common Core State Standards provide clear and consistent learning goals to help prepare students for college, career, and life. The standards clearly demonstrate what students are expected to learn at each grade level, so that every parent and teacher can understand and support their learning.

D95 Curriculum Maps

The maps are working documents that are updated, revised and changed based on the continued work and development to our lessons, instruction and resources to fully align to the Common Core standards.  Our goal is to provide quality instruction that meets the needs of ALL students in District 95.

Data and Assessments

Student assessment is a key part of instruction in today's world.  Based on the information we learn from student assessments, we know whether a student, a class, a grade or even an entire school are moving along at a proper pace. We utilize the data to provide the tools necessary for each student to learn and be successful at meeting individual goals.

Student Instructional Services

Response to Intervention (RtI) is an approach for redesigning and establishing teaching and learning environments that are effective, efficient, relevant, and durable for all students, families, and educators. RtI involves an education process that matches instructional and intervention strategies and supports to student needs in an informed, ongoing approach for planning, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of instruction, curricular supports, and interventions.
