From the Principal's Office

I would like to welcome everyone to the 2011-2012 school year at Brook Park School. This is my fifth year as Principal and I am looking forward to another positive and productive year. I am so proud of our school and our continued academic success! I have enclosed some valuable items of information below, and I hope everyone enjoys the District 95 website. Brook Park Traffic Pattern

Please use the main entrance (southeast doors) as the only morning drop off zone. Your child should be on the passenger side of the car and be ready to exit as soon as you reach the drop off zone. When your child has exited, please proceed to the stop sign at 30th and Raymond. If you need to supervise your child, you should park your car in a legal parking space and walk him/her to his/her line. The school day begins promptly at 8:00 am. All children should be at school in their lines by 7:55 am. Arriving early prevents your child from being tardy. Be sure to allow extra time when there is snow or other inclement weather. Please share this information with everyone who transports your child to school. After school pick-up will remain the same with two pick-up spots on Raymond. Kindergarten, First and Second will be picked up by the office doors, and Third, Fourth and Fifth will be picked up by the gymnasium doors.

Birthday Treats

Due to many severe food allergies in District 95, we are asking you not to send any food items for treats. If you would like to send in a treat, we suggest stickers, pencils, erasers, etc... Another alternative to treats might be donating a book to your child's class or school library in your child's name.
