This was a great week and the sugar frenzy from Sunday is starting to wear off. We want to remind everyone that there is no school the week of Thanksgiving (November 22-26). Please take some time to read the important information below:
SEL:
This week, students continued learning about identifying and expressing their emotions in "okay" or "positive" (expected) ways. See the attached bulletins for more information.
Winter Clubs:
Check out the Winter Club Brochure because sign-ups for the Winter Clubs Session are officially open! The 2021 Winter Club Interest Form is due November 12th at midnight.
You will receive notification of the club(s) your child(ren) has been selected for no later than November 17th.

Specials Conferences:
Would you like to talk to one of the Specials teachers about your student, their curriculum, or anything else Specials related? If so, the Special's teachers have put together a schedule of open zoom times for you to conference with them. Click here to find the full list of times and links to meet and talk with any of the Specials teachers.
In addition you will find some special offerings for our parents and/or students. These include book talks and family drawing sessions! Those links and times are also in the schedule above. `
Community Vaccine Information:
If you are looking for a vaccine for your child ages 5-11, here are some available options in and around the community.
BPC:
BPC's Diversity Equity and Inclusivity committee is hosting a book discussion group. We are reading Eric Gansworth’s book in verse “Apple (Skin to the Core)” in honor of American Indian heritage month. Please join us! Since it is a book in verse you can read bits of it and join in the discussion.
Look Books for the BPC Boon Supply fundraiser are headed home with your child. Take a look, order online to help us raise money to support BPC teachers, staff and students. Orders are due by December 4th.
