We had a great week returning back from Thanksgiving break! We hope everyone enjoyed the time with family and friends. We can’t believe it is already December! We had a fun week here at Brook Park that wrapped up with our virtual assembly today! Here are just a few things coming up:

Lost and Found:
The lost and found will be getting cleaned out over winter break so if your child is missing anything, please remind them to look in the lost and found in the next two weeks!
SEL Blurb:
This week in their SEL lessons, kindergarteners, first graders, and second graders learned about positive thinking. Positive thinking is a "way that helps" cope with uncomfortable emotions. Third graders, fourth graders, and fifth graders learned about perspective taking. Recognizing how others are feeling will help us to be good friends and problem solvers.
