Weekly Newsletter 3-11-2022

Superstar Families,

Happy Friday! We truly hope this is the last snow of the year and we are super excited for the 60’s next week! There are quite a few important reminders and information in the weekly blast:

Spring Break:

We want to remind everyone that spring break is March 28th through April 1st. This was changed last spring after the school folders had already been printed. You can always find the most up to date calendar information on the district website.

Report Cards:
In order to help with the toner shortage we are dealing with,
digital copies of our Trimester 2 Report cards (K-5) will be sent out today by the classroom teachers. You will receive a paper copy of the report card cover page with the comments and work habits.

MAP reports will be sent home digitally for students in Grades 1-5. Paper copies of the MAP reports will be sent home to Kindergarten only. We are unfortunately, like most of the country, facing a toner shortage so we are trying to minimize copying when possible.

Bus Expectations:
This is an important time to review bus expectations to set everyone up for success for the remainder of the year. Please take a moment to
watch this video with your child if they ride the bus. You might recognize the two stars and the narrator.

In addition, a banner of International flags has been hung over the story walk that honors both Black History Month and Women’s History Month. If you have any suggestion for the committee please email [email protected]. Be sure to visit its page on the website as well https://brookparkcouncil.org/dei
