Superstar families,
We had a great week here at Brook Park this week! Our students loved getting to see the SE Gross students perform in The Lion King during the week. We cannot believe there are only two weeks left of the school year! As a reminder, the last day of school is Friday, June 3rd. There are some things coming up before the weekend:
S.E. Gross Inquiry and Innovation:
Inquiry and Innovation class at S. E. Gross is collecting used sporting equipment. It will be donated to The Sports Shed. They will distribute it to kids in impoverished areas. We are also collecting used books for kids. These will be donated to the Infant Welfare Society. They will give them to kids who have procedures done at their clinics. The collection ends May 27th.
SUPERSTARS Celebration:
Don’t forget we have kicked off our SUPERSTAR celebration to celebrate the last ten days of school! Here are the celebration days for next week:
U-Monday 5/23- Uh-Oh Day! Wear mismatched clothes and crazy hair!
P-Tuesday 5/24 - Pajama Day! Dress in your comfiest pajamas!
E- Wednesday 5/25- Exercise Day! Wear your activewear and get ready to move!
R-Thursday 5/26- Rock and Roll Day! Turn on some music and have a dance party!
S-Friday 5/27- Story and Stuffed Animal Day! Snuggle up with your stuffed animal and read some stories!
Device Collection:
We will be collecting all of our student devices on Wednesday, June 1st. This gives us time over the summer to update them, clean them and have them ready to go for next school year. Please be sure to have your child bring their device, case and charger on Wednesday, June 1st. We will send reminders as the day gets closer.
SEL Blurb:
K-5: During their social emotional learning lessons this week, students practiced mindfulness and discussed self-care strategies.

Warrior Nation Summer Camp is offering basketball, volleyball, and soccer camps this summer from incoming 5th-8th graders. This camp will take place this year at Brook Park School! Click here for more information
